The Center for Pelvic Wellness at University Medical Center of Princeton

The Center for Pelvic Wellness at University Medical Center of Princeton is a highly specialized program offering progressive treatments available for women and men affected by pelvic floor disorders. Commonly treated disorders include bladder, pelvic support and other related conditions.

Our Pelvic Wellness Program uses a multidisciplinary team to coordinate the care that surrounds individual patient’s health needs. Each patient enters the program with the guidance of a dedicated nurse navigator to help schedule appointments, testing and therapy and to coordinate care with physicians and other providers. Specially trained physical therapists evaluate and treat pelvic floor dysfunction. Physical therapy services are available in the Center for Pelvic Wellness and at three UMCP Outpatient Rehabilitation Network sites.

Heather van Raalte, MDHeather van Raalte, MD, Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UMCP, is a fellowship-trained urogynecologist who serves as Medical Director of the Center for Pelvic Wellness. Dr. van Raalte has dedicated her career to urogynecology, with a focus on minimally invasive surgical techniques. Proceeds from the golf outing will be used for programmatic support, patient educational materials and to inform the general public that help is available.
