Retired NFL Quarterback

Jay Fiedler is a retired NFL quarterback.  From 1994-2005, he spent periods of time playing for the Philadelphia Eagles, Minnesota Vikings, Jacksonville Jaguars, Miami Dolphins, and New York Jets.  The most successful years of his playing career came with the Miami Dolphins between 2000-2004.  Jay is a graduate of Oceanside High School on Long Island where he graduated 3rd in his class and lettered in football, basketball, and track & field.  Jay chose to attend Dartmouth College continuing as a scholar-athlete by participating in both football and track & field.  As a quarterback at the Ivy League school, he set school records for touchdown passes, passing yards, and total offense.  He graduated from Dartmouth with a degree in Engineering Sciences. 

Since retiring from the NFL, Jay has joined his family in running The Sports Academy at Brookwood Camps, an overnight summer camp, where he works with kids of all ages to help teach them the lessons he learned through his own life experiences in school, sports and beyond.  He also directs Prime Time Sports Camps where he runs football camps, clinics, and tournaments for all ages and skill levels.  Through Prime Time, Jay has garnered attention for his work in training Trevor Siemian (current Broncos starting QB) for his Pro Day workouts when he prepared for the 2015 NFL Draft. 

Jay has been involved in many charitable pursuits, including becoming co-founder and board member of The Reach for the Stars Foundation, which will soon be called Ellie’s Army.  Ellie’s Army strives to help those affected by Cystic Fibrosis.  Jay has also spent his time and resources helping the Boys and Girls Clubs, numerous Breast Cancer charities (his Mom is a survivor), and many other local and regional charities.

Jay currently resides in Garden City and spends his summers at Brookwood Camps in Glen Spey, NY
